Butler County Commissioners and the county planning & zoning have adopted the new Comprehensive Plan & are working through the Data Center Regulations & (industry) Application draft now. View those regulations/documents here.

THEN, SHOW UP for the Butler County planning & zoning meeting with public comment for the data center regulations: **July 7, 2026 @ 7pm, Historic Butler Co. Courthouse, 4th floor Feel free to speak, or just come support! July 21, 2026 @ 6:00 PM – County work Session to address Public Input and make final modifications to draft. August 4, 2026 @ 7:00 PM – Planning Commission with public hearing and consideration to adopt regulations and application for presentation to the County Commission for official adoption.
Attend the (El Dorado) City Commission meetings- link to their Calendar here. Meetings are every other Monday at 5:30pm. City work sessions are every other Wednesday, 5:30pm, both are at El Dorado City Hall.
